Located in Plano, Texas, the Texas Fallen Officer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing advocacy and support to the families of police officers affected by tragedy. Our mission is to honor the sacrifice of our fallen heroes by offering vital assistance to their families during their time of need — including financial support, access to resources, and specialized programs aimed at helping survivors cope with their grief and rebuild their lives. Since our establishment, we have proudly supported numerous families across Texas and beyond, donating over $1 million to assist fallen officers and their loved ones.
Valuing the Community
Our mission goes beyond providing financial assistance; we strive to be a pillar of support and compassion for these families during their darkest times. To carry out our work, we rely heavily on the support of the community.
Direct Impact on Families: Donations from the community directly translate into meaningful assistance for the families of fallen officers.
Sustainability and Expansion: Fundraising allows us to sustain our operations and expand our programs, ensuring that we can continue to provide comprehensive support to more families in need.
Our foundation is built on trust and personal commitment. As former law enforcement officers ourselves, we have personally experienced the profound loss of colleagues and friends in the line of duty. We intimately understand the toll these losses take on agencies, families, and entire communities. This personal connection drives our dedication to ensuring that no family feels alone in their grief and that they receive the support they deserve.
Education & Advocacy
Education lies at the heart of our efforts to support law enforcement families. Through outreach programs, workshops, and informational campaigns, we inform the public about the challenges these families face and foster empathy and understanding within communities.
Advocacy is another critical component of our work. We advocate on behalf of law enforcement families to ensure they receive the support and resources they need — lobbying for legislation that enhances benefits and protections for surviving families, advocating for improved mental health services, and pushing for policies that recognize and honor the sacrifices made by law enforcement professionals.
